Install the plugin

Works with classic and block themes, Elementor, Divi and other page builders.

  1. Download the plugin

    Grab the free plugin zip from this page (GPL-licensed, about 6 KB).

  2. Upload and activate

    In WordPress: Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → choose the zip → Install Now → Activate.

  3. Paste your Agent ID

    Go to Settings → Chat widget and paste the ID that starts with bot_ (find it in your ChatKit dashboard under Install). Save — the chat bubble appears on every page.

Is the plugin free?
Yes — the plugin is free and GPL-licensed. You need a ChatKit account for the agent itself; the Free plan includes 50 AI conversations a month and your agent is never deleted.
Does it work with Elementor, Divi and block themes?
Yes. The script is added through wp_footer, which classic themes, block themes and page builders all output. Clear your caching plugin after activating.
What does the plugin send to your servers?
Nothing from WordPress itself. Visitors' browsers load the widget from our servers, and messages are sent only when someone uses the chat. Uninstalling the plugin deletes its single setting.
Do I need to update the plugin to get new features?
Rarely. The widget is served from our servers, so improvements reach your site without a plugin update. Appearance and behavior are set in the dashboard.
Does it work on multisite?
Yes — activate it per site and give each site its own Agent ID, so each agent learns from the right content.
